A go-to Chinese Green Tea: I think the hand-rolling brings more depth to the flavors that this tea presents. The brew is not too thick (depends on water temp and tea:water Ratio) and incredibly vegetal and umami rich. Despite the richness, the freshness of the tea falls in the middle of the scale — it is neither too dark / Vegetal or grassy/umami forward.
I have found that this tea can tolerate both higher temps (~185*) and lower temps (~160-170*). Depends on how you’re feeling! Give this tea a try
